MODEL
  TRX-9
  9:1 Receive Antenna
  Transformer

Low Loss Accurate Impedance Transformation Surge-Protected Rugged Construction Handles Accidental Transmit Power
The AY Technologies TRX-9 Receive Antenna Transformer is built with the best components and materials: SO-239 coax connector, large-size ferrite cores, gas tube surge protector, metal-to-metal contact binding posts and a rugged PVC enclosure. The 9:1 impedance ratio is ideal for Beverages, K9AY loops and other antennas with feedpoint impedances in the 300-1000 ohm range (see specifications below). Separate primary and secondary windings allow 180-degree phasing for easy implementation of inline or staggered phased arrays.
Specifications
Impedance transformation: 9:1 (output vs. input impedance)

Instructions
For a typical Beverage installation, connect the antenna to the Red binding
posts, and the ground connection to both the Black binding post and mounting
bracket. Connect either 50-ohm or 75-ohm coaxial feedline to the SO-239 connector.
For phased arrays, 180-degree phasing can be accomplished by reversing the Red
and Black connections. If you want an isolated feedline, do not ground the mounting
bracket; just ground one of the binding post connections. Always be sure that
one of the binding post connections is grounded - the surge protector will not
function without grounding! For additional technical information, click on the
